Cryogen logistics calculator

LN₂ Supply Planner

Estimate liquid-nitrogen demand from the current manual fill volume, operating cycles, commissioning runs, transfer allowance and reserve. Facility EHS and the cryogen supplier still control storage, transport and use.

Supply continuity

Build a conservative planning quantity.

What the formula includes.

Base liquid = fill volume × all planned cycles. The planner then applies a handling allowance and operating reserve. If a supplier delivery increment is entered, it rounds upward to the next increment.

What it cannot calculate.

  • Actual storage-vessel boil-off over the hold period.
  • Model-specific conditioning, recovery or partial-fill behavior.
  • Supplier transfer losses and minimum delivery quantities.
  • Whether the room, route or staging area is approved for the resulting quantity.
  • Oxygen-deficiency risk, ventilation or emergency response.
